The staff was helpful and allowed us to store our luggage after check-out. The cozy rooms with clean bathrooms and hot showers were a plus. The location was convenient with key spots just a short walk away. Plus, the laundry service was great.
Although the breakfast was not special, it was manageable. However, the decor was outdated, and the walls were incredibly thin, compromising sleep quality.

The staff at the hotel were so helpful and welcoming. The hotel is wood throughout and really cozy. The location is a 10 minute walk from the town but we felt safe even at night walking to and from the town.
The breakfast is very basic.

We had a great stay at this hotel. its location is fantastic - on top of a little slope right behind the famous lamb restaurant La Tablita. It's in an area of higher ground just outside the center of Calafate town, offering beautiful views of the snow-capped mountains through our window. Additionally, we found the service provided by the staff to be excellent. They were friendly and went the extra mile to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The basic amenities in the rooms, although a bit tired in terms of furnishings, were more than sufficient for our needs. Lastly, the breakfast, which was included in the price, was enjoyable and provided a typical Argentine spread.
Everything was perfectly fine during our stay.

nice hotel , good bfst, clean rooms, free internet
up the hill from the center, easy to do by foot without luggage to go for dinner (15 minutes). If not backpacking you need a taxi to transport luggage to the bus station. For the airport we used the airport service recommended by the tourist office which tends to run late but still ok to get your flight.

Good heating, good breakfast, good wi-fi
We had to walk up a steep hill to get there but only the dining area had a poor view.

We found the staff to be very helpful. We appreciated the location which is within easy walking distance of the downtown core, but away from the hustle and bustle. The rooms are comfortable and attractive, but simple. The price was very good.
The breakfast was pretty minimal.

The hotel is situated on a hill with a breathtaking view of the lovely lake. The walking distance to town center is pretty good, and two restaurants are nearby. the rustic style of the wood decor on the rooms and the communal area gives a charming feel.
Although the garden setting is beautiful, room’s basic features leave a little to be desired.

This small cozy guesthouse was the perfect place for three friends to stay for our final few nights in Argentina. We had a large triple room upstairs and it was quite comfortable and warm. Juan, the manager, was extremely helpful in communicating with me prior to the visit by giving me prices of tours and setting those up upon arrival. I would stay here again and recommend it to friends.

We stayed in the hotel 3 times as we made trips out of El Calafate. I would recommend to ask for a room at the second floor. They have a cathedral ceiling and are of a size of a room in a 5 star hotel. We have not seen rooms at the ground floor. All staff speaks good Engslish, the owner is extremaly friendly. We has a big, heavy bag and he immediately carried it upstrairs. We had a problem with a rental car and they made several calls on our behalf.

The owners were so kind and helpfull, with tracing our lost luggage as well as booking tours. The facilities like a public computer and good working wifi were well taken care off. We wish Juan Pablo and Jorgelita the very best. Pascal and Maaike from Amsterdam

The Hosteria was well-tended with a terrific staff and well-appointed with services such as remis/taxis at their disposal for excursions and airport transfers. It was homey and quiet from street noise. I had heard about the sound reflections from the wood but it wad natural sounding and not at all bothersome.
The showers could use some upgrading but perfectly serviceable with hot water and good pressure.
